Young Engineer Program

Engineering is problem solving. It is a difficult ability to find in job candidates these days. Kids get a head start with a young engineer program. One of my favorites helps learn engineering while making it fun. It’s called Crunchlabs!

CrunchLabs is a monthly STEM toy subscription box designed by former NASA engineer and YouTuber Mark Rober. With CrunchLabs, kids learn to think like engineers through fun and educational activities. Here’s how it works:

  1. Build: Each month, subscribers receive a new toy kit with simple step-by-step instructions to build their own toys and robots.
  2. Play and Hack: Kids can play with their creations and even modify them by hacking and iterating.
  3. Think: Exclusive videos from Mark Rober help kids understand how everything fits together, encouraging them to think like engineers.

Thinking like an engineer fosters resilience, problem-solving skills, and creativity. It’s the determination that puts rovers on other planets! 🚀

CrunchLabs offers two subscription lines:

  • Build Box: Perfect for kids aged 8-13, ships monthly.
  • Hack Pack: Ideal for teens and adults aged 14+, ships every 2 months.

Gift a subscription to any little geniuses you know and let them explore the world of engineering! 🌟

Check out their website for more details: CrunchLabs1. And remember, thinking like an engineer is the first step to solving any challenge!

Follow Mark Rober on Youtube for more engineering inspiration. We highly recommend the squirrel olympics series.
